• Women and men in rural areas, local grass root associations in the sector agriculture and rural development as well as Ministry of agriculture

• Main Activities

• Analysis from gender perspective of IPARD Measure 1 – Modernization of small family farming households, analysis of draft National strategy from gender perspective, as well as analysis of first measure in the sector aimed to economic empowerment of women in rural areas. In the activities also there will be field research as well as interviews with representatives of institutions in order to get relevant quantitive and qualitive data that will help us to prepare a good policy paper that will advocate in front of the institutions in order to make impact from gender perspective and to put gender sensitive indicators in the process of planning and implementation of funds from national and IPARD programme.

• Short Description

• Rural Coalition will make gender responsive monitoring of Measure I of IPARD programme – Investments in modernization of small family farms and households as well as monitoring and analysis of allocation of costs in the measure 115 for economic empowerment of women in rural areas. GRB Network will influence on advancement of equal allocation of funds in the sector agriculture and rural development

• Achieved or to be Achieved Results

• – Contribution to the creation of a gender-sensitive program for rural development and gender responsive budget for the same for 2022
  – Introduction of gender indicators and their public announcement for each IPRAD call
  – Contribution to the creation of gender sensitive National strategy for agriculture and rural development 2021-2027
  – Contribution to the creation of a gender-responsive and gender-sensitive strategy for agriculture and rural development for the period 2021-2027
  – Recognition and increased knowledge of tools for gender-responsive budgeting by women in rural areas
  – Report on gender responsive policy assessments in the sector of agriculture and rural development
  – Policy paper and recommendations for advancement of equal allocation of funds in the sector agriculture and rural development
