AlbaniaIntroducing a gender perspective into the analysis of crisis situations is a key step towards understanding the complex ways in which crises affect different social groups. Crisis situations, whether caused by natural disasters, conflicts, pandemics or economic crises, have different consequences for women, men, children and marginalized groups. This analysis aims to explore how gender affects people's experiences during crises, how gender inequalities can be reduced and how to ensure that responses to crises are equitable and comprehensive. By considering different aspects of gender dynamics in crisis situations, this study seeks to provide deeper insight and concrete recommendations for policies and practices that will improve the resilience and security of all social groups. KosovaThe Kosovo Women’s Network (KWN) has published a groundbreaking report showing how transport in Kosovo affects women and men differently. Women have less access to vehicles, face more safety concerns, and encounter barriers in public transport—especially rural women, persons with disabilities, and minority groups. The report finds that current transport policies are only partly gender- and climate-responsive, with limited investment in sidewalks, bike lanes, and reliable public transport. Still, most citizens are interested in using cleaner and safer transport options. KWN calls for more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable mobility solutions that improve daily life and support climate goals in Kosovo.

MoldovaThis report analyzes public transport in the Republic of Moldova through the lens of gender equality, disability inclusion, and climate resilience. It highlights how outdated vehicle fleets, limited accessibility, and inadequate infrastructure contribute to high pollution levels and restrict mobility—especially for women, people with disabilities, and residents of rural areas. The study examines national and local transport policies, mobility patterns, and citizens’ perceptions of safety and accessibility. It also identifies key gaps in current systems and offers recommendations for developing sustainable, gender-responsive, and climate-smart transport solutions that support equal participation in economic, social, and educational life.

Ky raport analizon ndikimin e transportit në mundësitë socio-ekonomike, aksesin në shërbime dhe ndikimin në ndryshimet klimatike. Ai thekson barrierat që hasin qytetarët në përdorimin e transportit publik dhe alternativ, me një fokus të veçantë në diferencat gjinore dhe efektet mjedisore. Gjetjet kryesore nxjerrin në pah ndikimin e mungesës së transportit në edukim, punësim dhe pjesëmarrjen qytetare, si dhe perceptimet mbi opsionet alternative të transportit. Pyetësorit iu përgjigjën 1100 individë nga territori i Republikës së Shqipërisë nga të cilët 491 vajza e gra të cilat përbënin (44.6% e totalit), dhe 598 djem e burra të cilët përbënin (54.4% të totalit). 11 individë ose (1.0% e totalit) zgjodhën të mos përgjigjen.

Nacionalni izvještaj: Rodna analiza transportnog sektora ka rodno i klimatski odgovornim politikama – Bosna i Hercegovina istražuje kako se transportne politike i infrastruktura prepliću sa rodnom ravnopravnošću i održivošću životne sredine. Izvještaj, koji je sprovela CPCD u okviru projekta Gender Budget Watchdog Network II, analizira političke okvire, budžetska izdvajanja i rodne obrasce mobilnosti širom BiH. Identifikuje ključne izazove, poput pitanja bezbjednosti, nedostatka podataka i niske integracije rodnih i klimatskih aspekata, te nudi konkretne preporuke za inkluzivan i održiv razvoj transporta.

Rrjeti i Grave të Kosovës (KWN) ka publikuar një raport të rëndësishëm që tregon se si transporti në Kosovë ndikon ndryshe tek gratë dhe burrat. Gratë kanë më pak qasje në automjete, përballen me më shumë rreziqe për sigurinë dhe hasin pengesa në transportin publik—veçanërisht ato që jetojnë në zona rurale, personat me aftësi të kufizuara dhe grupet minoritare. Acest raport analizează transportul public din Republica Moldova prin perspectiva egalității de gen, incluziunii persoanelor cu dizabilități și rezilienței la schimbările climatice. Studiul evidențiază cum flota de vehicule învechită, accesibilitatea redusă și infrastructura insuficient adaptată contribuie la niveluri ridicate de poluare și limitează mobilitatea – în special pentru femei, persoanele cu dizabilități și locuitorii din mediul rural. Raportul examinează politicile naționale și locale de transport, modelele de mobilitate și percepțiile cetățenilor privind siguranța și accesul. De asemenea, identifică lacunele sistemului actual și oferă recomandări pentru dezvoltarea unor soluții de transport durabile, sensibile la dimensiunea de gen și adaptate schimbărilor climatice, care să sprijine participarea egală la viața economică, socială și educațională. KWN bën thirrje për zgjidhje më gjithëpërfshirëse, të qasshme dhe të qëndrueshme të mobilitetit, të cilat përmirësojnë jetën e përditshme dhe mbështesin objektivat klimatike në Kosovë.
