The hub in North Macedonia is manged by the Center for research and Policy Making (CRPM). CRPM actively engages in capacity building for gender mainstreaming in policy making and budgeting. Since 2009 has implemented projects which introduced gender perspective in central and local level policy making. In the same time the organization facilitated development of a number of policy documents related to gender equality. We are proud of the Strategy against proxy and family voting developed with the State election commission and the Strategy for gender equality of the City of Skopje. CRPM has integrated gender in all its research activities. In the last ten years CRPM has conducted assessments of gender equality in a number of municipalities (Sveti Nikole, Strumica, Bitola, Bogovinje, Aerodrom, Debar, Tetovo, Gostivar, Kriva Palanka) through analyses on the labor market participation of women, the impact of the DRG reform on the unpaid work of women, the economic mobility, care work and available care services, perceptions of women from rural areas, etc. They resulted in analyses which have been used by international organizations for streamlining interventions and by local institutions for designing and evaluating policies.

        The Gender Alliance for Development Centre (GADC) is an Albanian non-profit organization operating all over Albania and manages the hub in this country. GADC is a voice for Albanian women and a force for change. Our organization works to empower women and to create an equal and just future for low-income girls and women to get out of poverty and exclusion all over Albania. In order to stand up for the women’s rights and to empower them, GADC raises funds in Albania as well as internationally. GADC‘s main thematic areas of expertise lie in: Ensuring women’s economic empowerment;  Women’s Entrepreneurship;  Empower citizens to monitor local gender agenda; Expanding women’s participation in politics and decision making;  Building peace and ending gender-based violence;  Advancing women’s rights in rural areas;

      Civil Society Promotion Center (CSPC) is a project partner that manages the hub in Bosnia and Herzegovina. CPCD has more than 20 years of experience in advocacy campaigns, from community to the state levels. They are contributing to strengthening of civil society in BiH by supporting the development of civil society organizations and their mutual cooperation and networking, establishing a framework for effective relations with the government and profit sectors and initiating civic activism, alongside promoting the non-profit sector as a quality and indispensable actor in the socio-economic development of BiH. The most successful program for women in BiH and the region where successful women from different sectors share their experience and knowledge with women who require assistance in job searches or with career development. This program has connected 1170 women so far. During 2013 and 2014 CCSP has founded Technical Advisory Group (TAG), consisting of 25 young women from different parts of BiH, specifically educated in running for political office of women. TAG continued with its work in 2015 without funds, providing free education for women in CCSP’s Resource Centre.

      Kosovo Women’s Network (KWN) mission is to support, protect and promote the rights and the interests of women and girls throughout Kosovo, regardless of their political beliefs, religion, age, level of education, sexual orientation and ability. KWN fulfills its mission through the exchange of experience and information, partnership and networking, research, advocacy, and service. A comprehensive strategy guides KWN’s work during 2019-2022. The strategy was compiled with input from KWN’s membership, Board of Directors, and other key partners and stakeholders. It details KWN’s strategy in six programmatic areas: Strengthening the Feminist Movement in Kosovo; Women in politics and decision-making; Women’s health; Gender-based Violence; Women’s economic empowerment; and, Quality, Equal Education. 

       Women Action is a Montenegrin women’s non-governmental organisation, founded on 17th of February, 2000. The Organization creates space for: Political promotion of women on all decision-making positions; Women’s economic empowerment; Creating equal and well-balanced Gender relations; Strengthening of multi discriminated women; Their multi-year experience in coordinating, managing and implementing local, national and regional projects and programs, including experience in the implementation of IPA projects, sub-granting schemes and advocacy efforts, as well as the specific results achieved make them the most suitable partner to implement the proposed initiative in Montenegro.

    Members of Gender Knowledge Hub worked in previous GRB activities and programmes in Serbia as consultants, trainers and/or researchers. Since it has been founded in 2016, Gender Knowledge Hub was involved in: – Providing support to the City of Pancevo in Gender Responsive Budgeting in 2018; – Conducting projects with the financial support of UNDP, Fund for Open Society, UN WOMEN Regional Office; Members of GKH individually are working as the consultants on gender responsive budgeting and gender mainstreaming in various projects. The idea of establishment of Gender Knowledge Hub was to close the gap between expertise and activism but also to expand scope of work of civil society organisations in Serbia. Gender equality in civil sector in Serbia is or in women’s organisations dealing mostly with gender based violence against women and girls, or as sporadic topic for big CSOs working on specific issues such as public policies, human rights, environmental protection etc.

   Keystone Moldova is a non-profit, nongovernmental organisation working to create opportunities where people can grow, exercise self-determination, and be participating, contributing and valued members of their society. The mission of KEYSTONE Moldova is to promote and develop opportunities that will be in the form of consultant services, technical assistance, direct support service, best-practice training, monetary and administrative supports for ensuring the quality of life of individuals living in difficult social situations, including persons with disabilities, children with special education needs, abused children and women, families living in poverty, discriminated groups of population. Keystone Moldova has experience in providing technical support (i) to central and local governments to develop gender legislation, policies and guidelines; (ii) to local public authorities with gender mainstreaming in sectors’ programs supporting economic growth in several country regions; (iii) to local public authorities to mainstream gender in modernization of local public services and infrastructure (e.g. road rehabilitation, street lighting). The support included, inter alia, advocating for the use of gender perspective in the budgeting process at all levels. Keystone Moldova also has experience with gender mainstreaming in developing projects aimed at improving lives of vulnerable Moldovan citizen (e.g. persons with disabilities and their families).
