Direct target groups are: women with disabilities, organizations of persons with disabilities (DPOs), womens’ NGOs in Montenegro, Ministry of Justice, Human and Minority Rights, Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare, Ministry of Public Administration, Digital Socety and Media, while indirect target groups are: women with disabilities, persons with disabilities (PWDs), families of persons with disabilities, DPOs, NGOs, Government of Montenegro, Parliament of Montenegro, media and the whole society.
1. Analyses of the GRB in the projects in the areas of gender equality, protection from discrimination and promotion of rights of PWDs, access to justice and protection of women from violence.
2. Creation of the policy paper with recommendations and set for GRB assesment in programs and policies.
3. Final conference for presentation of the report and recommendations.
4. Media campaign
Project “Women with Integrity – towards Visibility” aims to increase inclusion of issues regarding women with disabilities in development of policies and programs of support to civil society in Montenegro in the next six months. It is expected that it will result in developed mechanisms for assessment and monitoring of gender responsive budgeting regarding women with disabilities in the system of public financing of projects and programs of NGOs in Montenegro and increased awareness of the public on importance of including gender and disability perspective in planning of programs and policies in Montenegro for at least 5%.
Planned results will be achieved through analyses of the GRB in the projects in the areas of gender equality, protection from discrimination and promotion of rights of PWDs, access to justice and protection of women from violence, creation of the policy paper with recommendations and set for GRB assesment in programs and policies, final conference and media campaign.
The proejct lasts from December 2020 to June 2021.
R1. Developed mechanisms for assessment and monitoring of gender responsive budgeting regarding women with disabilities in the system of public financing of projects and programs of NGOs in Montenegro.
R2. Increased awareness of the public on importance of including gender and disability perspective in planning of programs and policies in Montenegro for at least 5%.
