COVID-19 is a global health crisis that quickly triggered an immense socio-economic crisis. Crises occur at the same time as the already existing inequalities, thus – various societal groups experience them differently. The impact of crises is often disproportionate. How does this particular crisis affect gender equality?
The report written by the expert Dženita Hrelja Hasečić answers the question of how budget measures during COVID-19 in Bosnia and Herzegovina affected gender equality, which of the measures were gender neutral and which were gender negative or positive.
At the presentation, the participants will be joined by the Austrian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina – Ulrike Hartmann, and Deputy Head of Development Cooperation of the Swedish Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Lisa Curman.
