The target group of this project proposal is the final beneficiaries of the sports schools’ athletic operating budgets, as well as the beneficiaries of the recruiting budgets and scholarship budgets spent by these institutions (both women athletes and men athletes).
One of the activities is the elaboration of the report.
The experts of the Association for Human Rights Lex XXI will use all the data collected from the requests for access to information, questionnaires and focus groups in the elaboration of the monitoring report. This report will compare the spending on men’s and women’s sport programs/athletic recruitment/scholarships within Balti municipality’s sports schools. It will also draw up a link between these levels of funding and the number of final female and male beneficiaries and their performances. The report will also analyze the number of women Coaches, as a logical stepping-stone for women athletes is to have women Coaches. Last but not least, the report will present a list of recommendations (mainly budget reallocation recommendations) to the sport schools, the Local Council and the Ministry’s of Education, Culture and Research Sport Department.
