"The training module for beginners enabled us to get acquainted with the basics of gender responsive budgeting, and thus it enables greater opportunities for activities aimed at advocating for the rights of women with disabilities."
The training on gender responsive budgeting has given me the opportunity to have a better insight into social inclusion policies, especially in terms of advancing the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Sustainable Development Goals. The acquired knowledge and skills indicate that budgets are the most important tools for including access to human rights for women and girls, as well as for the most marginalized groups and persons with disabilities within the policies, including in the context of dealing with COVID-19. Thanks to GBWN, we were able to gain knowledge of policy assessment and analysis to ensure that all public utilities, information, goods and services are available according to age, gender and disability.
"The Advanced training module on gender responsive budgeting is of particular importance to Radar as a new comer in this filed. We have gained important knowledge, especially in terms of how to prepare a gender analysis on public policies and budgets. I warmly recommend the GBWN e-learning academy to anyone who intends to deal with this extremely important issue. "
