The project is supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) within the Gender Budgeting Monitoring Network II project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The project aims to <strong>send a message of support to people with disabilities and increase society&#8217;s awareness of the importance of equality and togetherness.<\/strong> NGO Mozaik is the main initiator of ideas this time as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">&#8220;So we decided to refine this space a bit, we chose bright, beautiful colors and nice messages and symbols. This is the second mural we are doing, and in 2024 we started all that avalanche. Like\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Frida Kahlo&#8217;s<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0mural , we are sending a nice message that we are here and that we are visible. Ladies are the main driving force today and that is the point of the whole story,&#8221; said\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Blagoje \u0160turanovi\u0107<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0, director of NGO Mozaik.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"U Nik\u0161i\u0107u novi mural podr\u0161ke osobama sa invaliditetom\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/X8tFcvY_9BE?start=31&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Like Frida Kahlo&#8217;s mural on building 10, this one is also designed to enhance the space and send a nice message.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">&#8220;On the artistic side, I am helping and I am part of the team working on this mural with\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Irena Ra\u0161ovi\u0107<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Zdenko Tomanovi\u0107<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0, and\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Lara<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0is also there to help us. The whole concept is related to the project itself and we wanted the entire mural to fit into the environment and look a little like that cubist style,&#8221; said academic painter\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Milena Krivokapi\u0107<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Advisor to the President of Nik\u0161i\u0107 Municipality,\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Vojin Strikovi\u0107<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0, says that the problems of people with disabilities are always approached with special attention, and that such actions will become a practice, all in the spirit of the fact that Nik\u0161i\u0107 is the European Capital of Culture in 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">&#8220;As part of the urban culture festival that we are conducting as a municipality and is part of the Nik\u0161i\u0107 Capital of Culture 2030 application form, we can consider this as an introduction to the festival that will be held this year in different locations of the Municipality of Nik\u0161i\u0107.
